Bayer Leverkusen star, Callum Hudson-Odoi, has refused to comment on issues regarding his international future amid reports he has been included in the Black Stars provisional squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The on-loan Chelsea forward despite featuring three times for England has found very minimal opportunities since his last appearance and is said to be keen on switching nationality to represent Ghana, with the new FIFA rule permitting it.
However, quizzed on whether he has made a decision yet, Hudson-Odoi remained coy on the step he has taken on his international career.
"Nothing I would say at the moment on camera. I would love to tell you, but I couldn't say," he told BBC.
"At the moment it's more just focusing on the best I can do here [Bayer Leverkusen]. You never know what will happen in the future.
"Obviously the Ghana-England situation has been on my mind for a while. But I think right now it was more of the focus of coming here, really getting myself back into shape, playing a lot of games and just feeling like myself. Right now my mind is just open."
Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo has submitted a 55-man provisional squad ahead of the tournament with the number set to be pruned to 26 before the competition begins.
