The Western Regional Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has congratulated Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, Minister Nominee for Lands and Natural Resources.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, January 21, following Mr Buah’s nomination by President John Mahama, the NDC youth wing in the Western region said, "As the patron of the Regional Youth Wing, we wish to express our sincere gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for once again reposing confidence in you, and strategically placing in an office considered tough to serve our country and the people of Ghana.”
It said over the years, the Ellembelle MP has served Ghana and humanity with humility and dedication.
“You have demonstrated courage, true leadership, and support for development in Ellembelle, Nzema, Western Region and Ghana. With cogent initiatives and powerful national policies, you masterminded the success story of the country's energy sector under your stewardship.
We are more than confident that the Lands and Natural Resources Ministry will once again become active, proactive and productive under your instrumental leadership.”
The youth wing said they have faith, that Parliament would consider his vast experience and expertise and approve his nomination after vetting for him to assume office as the sector Minister.
“Indeed, the Western Regional Youth Wing would like to join the rest of Ghana to celebrate your appointment” a statement signed by the Western Regional Youth Organiser, Alhaji Iddrisu Mustapha concluded.
