The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has commended President Akufo-Addo for sharing a powerful message on coronavirus.
President Akufo-Addo during his fourth address to the nation about measures being taken to curb the spread of the pandemic in the country said “we know how to bring the economy back to life. What we do not know is how to bring people back to life.”
Many Ghanaians have praised the president for this poignant message and Dr Ghebreyesus has added his voice.
In a tweet, he said “Thank you for sending such a powerful message to the world, my brother @NAkufoAddo, President of Ghana. Together, for a healthier, safer, fairer world! Together against #COVID19!”
