Former Black Stars player Augustine Ahinful has urged Otto Addo to adopt a more attacking strategy to improve the team's performance.
Ghana failed to secure qualification from Group F in the Africa Cup of Nations, claiming only three points from six matches against Angola, Sudan, and Niger.
In an interview on JoyNews’ Prime Take, Ahinful emphasized the need for a more aggressive approach, particularly in home games, to address Ghana’s challenges on the international stage.
“Otto Addo is always conscious in his approach to the game. I always see him play two defensive midfielders, whether it’s an away game or a home game. So I would advise that when you are away, you can afford to play cautiously, but at home, you must be offensive,” he stated.
The Black Stars will resume camp in March 2025 as they aim to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
