Police in the Northern Region have arraigned 13 residents of Libga in the Northern Region for an attack the officers.
The accused persons were slapped Wednesday with a charge for an ‘attack on the police and causing unlawful damage’ to a police vehicle.

Ten of the suspects have been remanded into prison custody until September 2, with three others granted bail, JoyNews’ Martina Bugri reports.
The police had gone to the community near Savelugu to invite a suspect in connection with a case of causing harm to the eye of someone but the community members attacked the police officers and caused damage to their vehicle.
The team called for reinforcement and subsequently, 13 suspects including one female were arrested. Upon a search on the female suspect, they found a single-barrelled gun.
