Sergeant Agatha Nana Nabin has been laid to rest in Tamale after her murder while on duty on July 30.
The burial service for the slain police officer was held at the Holy Cross Parish at Choggu, Tamale.

In attendance was the Ag. Inspector-General of Police, James Oppong-Boanuh, some senior officer and the Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery.

The late Agatha Nana Nabin was shot dead at a snap checkpoint on Tuesday, July 30, at about 11:45 pm.
The armed men who were said to be occupants of a vehicle, pulled out their guns and shot at the officers after they stopped the vehicle for checks.
She was promoted posthumously from Corporal to Sergeant “in recognition of her act of bravery, dedication and commitment to duty.”
