Bibiani Gold Stars reignited their Ghana Premier League title ambitions with a 2-0 victory over Berekum Chelsea at Dun’s Park on Saturday.
The Miners, determined to recover from their loss to Asante Kotoko in matchweek 15, broke the deadlock in the 72nd minute through Gideon Anaba after an evenly contested first half.
Gold Stars maintained pressure on their opponents, forcing an own goal from Seidu Mohammed to double their lead and seal all three points.
The result leaves Berekum Chelsea winless in their last four games, sitting 8th with 19 points, while Bibiani Gold Stars climb to 2nd place with 30 points, level with league leaders Hearts of Lions.
The Miners now look to sustain their momentum as they chase the title in 2025.
