Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Class Media Group and business tycoon Alhaji Seidu Agongo has presented a Hyundai Elantra to Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare.
The generous gesture follows a viral video that showed Asare using public transport after making his debut for the Black Stars.
He started for Ghana against Madagascar and Chad in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, keeping clean sheets in both games as the team recorded two victories.
“I thank all the supporters of Hearts of Oak and everyone. It is incredible for a lovely gesture to be extended to someone like me,” Asare said.
“I thank the whole nation and the president for this opportunity. I also thank my coach Ouattara and everyone who has helped me. I thank Ghanaians as well. God willing, we will be at the World Cup.”
Asare, who has kept 15 clean sheets in 24 matches for Hearts of Oak, is expected to be included in Ghana's squad for the upcoming Unity Cup in London slated for May 28.
