The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, says the ‘ballot box’ remains the only way that the party can wrestle political power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Election of 2024.
He, therefore, called on supporters and members of the party, and the entire electorate to come out in their numbers on December 7, and vote for the NDC to win the elections overwhelmingly.
Mr Nketiah said every single vote remained valuable for the NDC in securing victory in the presidential and parliamentary general elections, and asked the party to remain vigilant at the polling stations too.
The NDC national chairman made the call when he addressed separate political rallies at Kwadwomokrom, Kojokumikrom and Krakrom in the Dormaa West constituency, as part of his campaign tour to the Bono Region.
Describing the “economic hardship” in the country now as unbearable, Mr Nketiah advised the electorate “to make their voices heard through the power of the ballot box”.

Mr Vincent Oppong Asamoah, the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Dormaa West Constituency and the NDC’s Election 2024 Parliamentary Candidate said the NDC governments always prioritised the development of rural communities.
He said Dormaa West was among the districts in the country that benefited much from NDC administrations and called on the electorate to vote for the party when they go to polls.
Nana Kwadwo Yeboah, the Abakomahene (sub-chief) of Kojokumikrom, said the NDC had been at the forefront in the development of the area, and expressed the hope that the party would regain political power to facilitate the progressive development of the area.
