The Hasaacas Ladies squad says they are determined to win the 2025/26 Ghana Women's Premier League as a befitting gift for Milot Pokuaa.
The forward, who was part of the title-winning squad during the 2020/21 season, is only playing a full football season this campaign after battling with injuries and parental losses in the last four years.
Milot suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury during the WAFU B Women's Champions League Qualifiers in 2021, missing the maiden edition of the Women's Champions League tournament as well as being out of action for a very long time.

During her absence from the pitch, she was also dealt a big blow with the passing of her mother and her stepdad.
Following her return, the Hasaacas squad say they are determined to help her to glory once again.
"She couldn’t play [in the Champions League] when the opportunity came, so now, we need to win the league and get her there to experience it," captain of the side Grace Banwaa said in an interview with Joy Sports.
That messaged was re-echoed by forward Comfort Owusu, who said, "Because she couldn’t play in 2021, we want to win the league for her this season so she can achieve her target."
Milot has been very pivotal in the last three game weeks in the Women's Premier League for Hasaacas, scoring in all three games against Halifax Queens, Army Ladies and Soccer Intellectuals, with the last two being match-winners.
The full feature on Milot airs on Joy News at 6:30am on Friday, March 14.
